The annual Met Gala is fashion’s biggest night out and with this year’s theme, “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination,” we knew the hair would be outta-this-world good. And we were right! Check out how Instagram’s favorite model and actress Emily Ratajkowski paired her golden Marc Jacobs gown with this goddess-inspired wet look. Celeb stylist Jennifer Yepez (@jennifer_yepez) glammed Emily for the event and is sharing all the steps below!
To build a voluminous and long-lasting foundation, start by applying a touch of Kérastase Mousse Bouffant to towel-dried hair.
Apply drops of Kérastase Elixir Ultime Bi-Phase Spray Oil from mids to ends to create the wet look, then create a center part.
Create three braids on each side, two in the front and one at the nape. Pancake each braid for a fuller effect and curl the pieces that fall from the braids.
Pin diamond embellishments between the braids, then twist the longer embellishments and pin the hair back and away from the face.
Finish by applying Kérastase Forme Fatale to any loose pieces of hair.
