Blackpink’s LISA Went Soft Mink Blonde at Coachella—See the Formula

LISA just debuted a soft mink blonde look at Coachella—and it’s one of her boldest color changes yet. She’s also among several cast members making post-White Lotus hair transformations, swapping her signature chestnut brown for a cooler, softer blonde.

Styled by Glen “Coco” Oropeza (@glencocoforhair) with color by Jacob Schwartz (@jacobschwartzhair), U.S. Hair Color Trend Ambassador for Schwarzkopf Professional®, LISA’s new shade channels mushroom blonde energy—cool, taupey tones with a neutral, luminous finish. It’s soft without being flat, bright without brass and effortlessly wearable.

Keep scrolling for Jacob’s full formula, including the lift, lowlight and gloss that brought this color to life—while keeping the hair healthy from roots to ends.

FORMULA STEPS

  1. Paint highlights throughout the hair using Formula A for brightness and lift while maintaining softness. This lightener lifts up to 8 Levels for a clean, neutral blonde result.
  2. Apply Formula B to the ends for added brightness and extra lift on the tips.
  3. Apply Formula C and Formula D in alternating sections through the back and sides to create soft, natural-looking depth and tone variation.
  4. Apply Formula E and Formula F through the top and sides to balance brightness with soft contrast.
  5. Apply Formula G around the hairline to create softness and blend.
  6. Apply Formula H to the root area for a seamless transition from natural depth to blonde.
  7. Apply Formula I through the midlengths to balance tone and add shine.
  8. Process gloss formulas for 20 minutes total, applying Formula I to the midlengths for the last 10 minutes.
