Help clients welcome the winter chill with the season’s hottest color trend: a cool-toned, ash brunette. Bauhaus Salon owner, Frances Canola (@frances_hairartist) used a foilayage technique for her application and put a twist on this classic color by toning with violet for some added ash. Here, Frances breaks down her color formula to help you achieve this look.

    Kenra Professional Simply Blonde Blue Powder Lightener + 30-volume + b3 Brazilian Bond Builder.

  • Formula B (Toner)

    Kenra Color Demi-Permanent Rapid Toner SV + violet booster + Kenra Color Demi-Permanent Coloring Creme 9-volume. 

FORMULA STEPS

  1. Tease hair and apply Formula A in a V shape for each section to avoid hard lines. Process for about one and a half hours or until client is lifted to a level 9. 
  2. Tone using Formula B. 
  3. Blow style and style using a 1 1/4 curling iron and seal with Kenra Texturing Spray.
