Glossy, Dark Teddy Blonde
When a client wants something fresh but still timeless, Andrea Henty (@andreahenty) delivers with her signature dark teddy blonde—a soft, skin-flattering blend of warm lowlights, tonal gloss and contouring layers that give the hair natural movement and dimension.
The secret to that luxe finish? Line One Extensions for added fullness and natural movement—styled with a clean, glossy blowout for that soft, expensive vibe.
This look was all about enhancing her client’s features while keeping the tone wearable without makeup or a tan. Andrea brought it all together with soft, healthy color and effortless dimension. Keep scrolling for her full formula breakdown, her go-to fill tip and why she always double-glosses to get the tone just right.
Here’s a closer look at the final result:
How Long Did This Transformation Take and How Do You Price It?
This full transformation took about three hours from start to finish and typically starts around $750, factoring in custom color, detailed glossing, a contour haircut and extension application.
For this look, Andrea used Line One Extensions in shades 26 and 29, custom-blended to match her client’s color and add subtle fullness for that easy-to-style, lived-in finish.

Who Is the Ideal Client for This Type of Technique?
According to Andrea, this is the perfect refresh for someone who’s feeling too blonde or washed out by overly cool tones. “It’s great for clients who want to bring some softness and richness back into their hair,” she says, especially if they’re after something flattering without relying on makeup or a tan.
What Does Maintenance Look Like?
Andrea recommends booking maintenance appointments every 8 to 10 weeks to refresh lowlights and gloss. At home, clients should stick to color-safe, hydrating products to maintain shine and prevent fading.
Are There Any Must-Know Tips With This Technique?
“Filling is a must,” Andrea says. She reaches for warm gold and auburn/ash shades for color corrections or tone shifts to create a healthy base and avoid flat results.
