This majorly blended blonde dimensional look comes from Patricia Nikole, aka @paintedhair to her 704k Insta followers. Check out that before—eep! “This took almost five hours and LOTS of steps 😅” Patricia said. And a message to her clients (and yours!): “Please remember that this is a very expensive and time-consuming process! It also still won’t be 100% perfect and sessions may still be required depending on the amount of color correction that’s needed.”

FORMULA STEPS

1. Apply Formula A to the roots to blend the line of demarcation and add some darkness. “I used a Level 7 all over because she had so much banding throughout her hair with zero dimension,” Patricia shared. “She’s also a natural Level 6 who wanted to transition into a look with easier grow-out. I also used a Level 7 considering the fact that her hair would fade significantly and adding lowlights wouldn’t be enough to correct her hair.”

2. Process, rinse, blow-dry and do a session of @paintedhair signature technique to gently lift and balance the blonde.

3. Tone with Formula C, process, rinse and style.
