We’re sharing the deets below on how Tokyo Stylez (@tokyostylez) colored her wig a dreamy, dimensional pink!

FORMULA STEPS

1. Tokyo started with a cool platinum Level 10, human hair wig. 

 

2. Shampoo with Joico Defy Damage Protective Shampoo. Then, prep with Joico Defy Damage ProSeries 1 Bond-Protecting Color Optimizer to protect, strengthen and rebuild bonds from the inside out. 

 

3. Apply Formula A to the base.

 

4. Then, alternate applying Formula B and Formula C to create a dimensional pastel rose with pops of medium and light pink. Process, then rinse.

 

5. Apply Joico Defy Damage ProSeries 2 and process for 2 to 5 minutes, then rinse.

 

6. Before styling, prep hair with Joico Defy Damage Protective Shield. Then, use Joico Dream Blowout Thermal Protection Crème to protect the hair from thermal damage and blow-dry.

 

7. For an ultra-sleek look, apply Joico K-PAK Color Therapy Luster Lock Glossing Oil. This step will also enhance color vibrancy and give the pink color extra shine.

 

8. Then, Tokyo twisted the hair into two hearts with braided accents at the base. Spray Joico Flip Turn Finishing Spray to lock in the style.

 

9. Maintain smoothness and protect from humidity with Joico Humidity Blocker. Apply 8 to 10 inches from the hair for a longer-lasting style.
