Intercoiffure Fashion Director and Artistic Director for Paul Mitchell Professional Haircolor Scott Cole and Intercoiffure Creative Director of the Haircolor Council Gina Khan present the 2008/09 Intercoiffure Trend Collection.  The collection is a collaboration of Cole’s “Nuance” collection and Khan’s “Pure Shimmer” color collection.

Scott Cole’s “Nuance” collection is his interpretation of spring trends in beauty and fashion.  “In this collection, I move away from exaggerated season changes in color, texture and shape,” explains Cole.  “Instead, I use subtle variations in detail to create a totally new fashion statement reflecting the season’s tonal values.”  Linda Yodice assisted Scott Cole in the creation and execution of “Nuance.”  Internal adjustments to the hair create invisible volume and eliminate the weight line.  Subtle highs and lows in color create an undulating texture.

Gina Khan knows her way around color and it’s quite evident in “Pure Shimmer.”  Her collection makes color appear subtle, complex and very modern.  “My inspiration for this collection comes from ‘shot silk’—where the interplay of colors between warp and weft create a shimmering surface of pure tones,” said Khan.  “You see the hair color change with the changing light.  The dimension is subtle…no stripes or panels.”
