Wella Announces Second Annual “Wella Supports Your Cause” Charity Challenge Finalists

Hairdressers have huge hearts, as demonstrated by the success of last year’s Charity Challenge winners. And thanks to the second annual Wella Supports Your Cause Charity Challenge, another deserving group of stylists will receive the funds to take their charitable efforts to the next level. Wella has named the 20 “Challenge” finalists, who will receive a total of $43,000 in grants for demonstrating compelling dedication to community outreach programs. The grants will include a $10,000 grand prize, two first prizes of $5,000, four second prizes of $2,500 and 13 third prizes of $1,000. The winners will be announced on June 23.

The competition was created to help hairdressers and salon owners boost their contributions to their favorite charities. More than 112 video essays were submitted, creating awareness and support of a wide array of local and national causes. The finalists were chosen by a combination of web-based public voting and a judging panel of industry experts,
