Sola Salon Studios Celebrates 5,000

Sola Salon Studios is celebrating a very special milestone—5,000 salon professionals finding the freedom that comes with owning your own business. “Being able to give the American dream to thousands of stylists’ has been the most rewarding business endeavor we’ve ever done,” says Stratton Smith, Co-Founder of Sola Salon Studios. “It’s all about experiencing the freedom to live the live you love.”

Founded in 2004, Sola provides an upscale, professional setting for stylists to take control of their careers, putting ownership, freedom and a work-life balance in the palms of stylists’ hands. The company has grown 30 percent since last year, and with more than 230 salons nationwide and counting,  they show no signs of slowing down.

“This is the first time my clients have felt comfortable referring their friends to me,” shares Gina Greco, owner of Creative Hair by Gina in Palm Harbor, Florida. “Sola has provided me with the professional environment that I needed to grow my business.”

Sola provides the opportunity for stylists to make their own decisions, be their own boss, set their own prices and work a schedule that works for them. Every detail down to the paint color is completely up the stylist. Where else can you get that kind of freedom?

“The goal is for every stylist to live their best life, and that’s something different for everybody,” says Matt Briger, Co-Founder of Sola Salon Studios.

Sola has allowed 5,000 stylists to live their dreams. “Professionally, it has really opened my mind to the business aspect, in that, I can focus on my client without interruptions of loud talking and gain security,” notes Debbie McRoberts, owner of H202 Salon in Lake Oswego, Oregon. “I have been more motivated to work at Sola since I love my surroundings.
