Sam Villa Appoints Dana Schmidtbauer As Vice President, Strategic Marketing

Sam Villa has just announced Dana Schmidtbauer as Vice President, Strategic Marketing to lead the brand marketing efforts in introducing groundbreaking programs, innovative new products and stylist-centric services to the beauty industry.

 

Dana will be part of the senior leadership team reporting to Beth Carson, Co-Founder and President of Sam Villa, and will be chiefly responsible for planning and directing program initiatives to grow the brand and business. She will also contribute to the leadership of social media and public relations, as well as work to develop marketing programs to support education and product sales.  Her expertise will also be an asset in strengthening business partnerships and creating new opportunities.

As a beauty industry veteran with over two decades of experience that spans trade media, brand marketing, manufacturing and distribution, Dana has established a career delivering growth in revenue, profitability and building high performing organizations. She spent the last 13 years at Behindthechair.com where she oversaw the account development team and initiated pioneering programs that catapulted the brand to a top position in the industry.
