Louis Vuitton Launches La Beauté Makeup Line with Pat McGrath as Creative Director

Legendary makeup artist Dame Pat McGrath (@patmcgrathreal) has joined the Louis Vuitton team as Creative Director of their new makeup line La Beauté. Pat has a longstanding relationship with the fashion house as she’s created and keyed looks for their fashion shows for years. Now, her unparalleled vision and nearly 30 years of industry experience will lead her to develop revolutionary luxury products. Pat will lead the La Beauté creative team in addition to creating for her eponymous makeup brand; Pat McGrath Labs.

“Working backstage for over 20 years at Louis Vuitton fashion shows, I am thrilled to now play such a key role in the launch of La Beauté Louis Vuitton, which is the result of extraordinary craftsmanship, creativity and innovation,” Pat said in a press release. “The beauty universe is about so much more than just product, and what we are creating here will unlock a new level in luxury beauty.” The first Le Beauté collection will launch with 55 lipsticks, 10 lip balms and eight eyeshadow palettes.
