How Davines Is Making It Easier For Salons To Recycle Hair Products

In partnership with Green Circle Salons, Davines is launching the new Davines In-Salon Container Recycling: The Take Back Box. Currently piloting in 37 salons across the US with a waiting list of 100 and growing, Take Back Boxes provide Davines guests with an easy way to recycle their difficult-to-recycle Davines packaging at their salon and ensures that the returned empties are given another life.

“We are so excited to partner with Davines to help them close the loop on their retail products and provide truly sustainable beauty,” shares Shane Price, Founder and CEO of Green Circle Salons. “The Davines Consumer Take Back Box program will ensure that the packaging from the products we all love will never end up in landfills. Instead they will be given a new life, put back into circulation and turned into new products. This includes packaging that is difficult to recycle through local recycling programs, like dark plastic, combined materials and aerosol cans. Together, we are making beauty beautiful!”

Why Recycle With Davines?

Some packaging is more challenging to recycle than others, so Davines wants customers to have full confidence that all of their products are recycled correctly. Bringing empty aerosols, combined materials and dark plastics to a Take Back Box makes a big difference because the brand can ensure they are given another life through proper sorting and recycling with Green Circle Salons and their partners.
