Natural Level 8 with Aveda Enlightenment™ Blonding, Full Spectrum™ Permanent & Full Spectrum™ Deposit-only Color Treatment
Formula A: 1 scoop Aveda Enlightener™ Podwer Lightener + 60ml 5-volume color catalyst™
Formula B: 40g Aveda Extra Lifting Creme + 2g Pastel Violet + 2g Pastel Blue + 2g Pastel Yellow/Orange + 80ml 30 & 40-volume color catalyst™
Formula C: 4g Pure Violet + 280ml Aveda Color Treatment Activator-Liquid
Section the hair as shown. In section 1, take fine-density slices as illustrated, and apply Formula A. Isolate with foil.
Using an alternative virgin application, apply Formula B to all the hair in section 2 and the remaining hair in section 1. Note: Use 30-volume at the new growth and 40-volume from midlengths to ends. Process, rinse, shampoo and perform the appropriate Aveda Botanical Therapy hair treatment. Note: If performing the color dipping application, condition the hair instead of performing a Botanical Therapy Hair Treatment.
For the color dipping application: Gather each quadrant into a lose ponytail at the bottom hairline as illustrated in the previous step. Secure the 4 ponytails with hair elastics. Working quadrant by quadrant, dip the end of the ponytail into a haircolor bowl, immersing the hair into Formula C to the point where you want the haircolor to start. Keep dipping the hair until you achieve the desired level of deposit. Note: To achieve a gradual, soft-to-strong effect, dip less of the hair into the formula each time.
When the desired level of deposit is achieved, thoroughly rinse the ends, and towel-dry the hair. Repeat this process in the remaining quadrants. Shampoo and perform the appropriate Aveda Botanical Therapy hair treatment.
