Long Layered Cut from L’ANZA
Start with the fringe; cut the line at the bridge of the nose to the corner of the eyebrow, creating a heavy, choppy line. Work back to the peak of the head.
At the side of the head, take diagonal sections and over-direct forward. Be sure to stand in front of your client and cut downward with a razor (working with the razor behind your fingers). The line should connect from the fringe to existing length. Repeat on the other side.
Taking your guide from the front at the highest part of the head (peak), cut with a razor to connect the guide to the existing length.
Work with 1-inch sections and no over-direction, pivoting around the head shape.
