  Side part the hair and then create a circular section at the top of the crown.

  Take an elastic band with bobby pins at the ends of each side and pull hair into a firm ponytail.

  Section the hair from the middle of the ear upwards and then pull the back section of hair up to join the existing ponytail.

  Use an elastic band to secure the ponytail.

  Brush back the hair in front of the ear.

  Fold the hair in and place a bobby pin towards the ends. Then pin and secure into place.

  Repeat on the opposite side, leaving the front section out.

  Take both ends of both sides of the hair and tuck into place around the
  ponytail, use bobby pins to secure.

  Back-comb the ponytail to create volume.

  Using a brush, smooth the top surface of the back-combed ponytail.

  Using three elastic bands, tie the ends of the ponytail.

   Secure the ponytail to the base of the hair with bobby pins.

  Use hair pins to secure bun to the base of the ponytail.

  Brush out the front section of hair to smooth it out, then gently tuck it behind the ear.
