  Start your application with Formula A in the back two sections, taking 1/8″ horizontal sections from the nape to the crown. Apply about 1/2″ to 1″ from both the scalp and more porous ends.

   

  Pro tip: Starting your application in the back of the head allows for a quick rinse-out if the lightener processes more quickly than anticipated.

  Place a mesh strip at the scalp between each section to keep the lightener off the skin and face.

   

  Pro tip: Make sure to work in the lightener with your fingers for each section. A little more saturation never hurts!

  Rinse with cool water, cleanse with Paul Mitchell® Color Protect® Post Color Shampoo then towel-dry.

  Apply Formula C globally and process for about 20 minutes.

  Towel-dry, then apply Paul Mitchell® Bond Rx Step 2 Professional Bond-Building Sealant. Allow to process for five to 15 minutes.

  Rinse, then blow-dry to activate Bond Rx technology.
