Boho Half-Up Rope Braid
Create a center part on dry hair and apply a thermal protectant throughout the hair and Hotheads® Tape-In Extensions. Take 1-inch sections and wrap diagonally around a 1-inch barrel curling iron, slightly twisting the hair while you wrap it.
Pro Tip: Chanel prepped the foundation by applying Hotheads® 18" to 20" Tape-In Extensions in three shades: 23 (Natural Golden Blonde), 3/GR CM (Natural Dark Brown to Gray) and 4A (Dark Ash Brown) for added fullness, length and contrast.
Alternate directions of the waves in the back for a more effortless finish.
Around the face frame area, angle the waves away from the face. Allow the curls to cool.
Section out a small horseshoe section on the top of the head, leaving extra hair to frame the face. Working in sections, gently backcomb the hair from front to back. Use volumizing powder for additional texture and support.

Lightly brush over the top of the backcombed section and pin toward the back, twisting the hair toward the right. Pin into place.
Grab a 2-inch wide section from the left side of the backcombed area. Divide the hair in two equal sections. Wrap the bottom section loosely over the top. Switch hands and continue wrapping the bottom section over the top until you reach the back of the head, pulling out the hair to create a loose rope braid.
Pin the hair into place, then repeat this technique on the other side. Finish with a texturizing hairspray.
