Olivia Wilde’s Simple and Sleek Met Gala Look
While some stars wore ornate, towering headpieces with elegant upsweeps on the red carpet for the 2015 Met Gala, Olivia Wilde looked effortlessly flawless with a simple and sleek style, accentuated with a gray, silk headband. Celebrity stylist Ben Skervin was in charge of making Olivia look “I-woke-up-like-this” breathtaking, and he did so using styling products from Goldwell. “I wanted to keep the hair slick and simple, but I also liked the idea of keeping it graphic,” says Ben. Here’s how he created Olivia’s Met Gala look!
HOW-TO STEPS

Apply Goldwell Style Sign Naturally Full Bodifying Blow-dry & Finish Spray to the entirety of the hair to add thickness and create a satin smooth finish. Dry the hair.

Use a straight iron to get the hair pin straight, then part the hair down the center and use Goldwell Style Sign Big Finish Volume Hairspray to smooth down the baby hairs around the hairline and along the part.

Place the headband and straighten over the ends of the hair. Use a small amount of Goldwell Elixir Versatile Oil Treatment on the very ends of the hair for smoothness.

Apply a small amount of additional hairspray to keep everything in place.
