For her first Met Gala appearance, singer Olivia Rodrigo donned a lace and feathered Yves Saint Laurent catsuit and honestly, it was GOOD 4 all of us. For her hairstyle, celebrity stylist Clayton Hawkins (@claytonhawkins) wanted to keep Olivia’s look clean and chic. HOW-TO STEPS

Clayton prepped Olivia by applying Oribe Supershine Moisturizing Cream to damp hair from mids to ends and smoothing any tangles using The Ultimate Detangler from Tangle Teezer.

Clayton then dried the hair straight using the Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer.

Then, he used the Dyson Corrale™ hair straightener on small subsections to get the hair sleek and smooth.

Next, Clayton evenly dispersed the Oribe Gold Lust Nourishing Hair Oil using The Ultimate Finisher brush from Tangle Teezer to create a glossy shine.

To create the knots, Clayton took small subsections and twisted them to back of the head, allowing the ends to spike out and securing them with pins.

Clayton applied Oribe Gold Lust Nourishing Oil to smooth the hairline and finished with the Oribe Superfine Hairspray to lock the style in place.
