L’Oréal Professionnel Artist and Balayage Expert Nancy Braun recently partnered with filmmaker, designer and beauty guru Tom Ford to re-imagine Amy Adams’ bold, red tresses for the actress’ role in Tom’s newest film “Nocturnal Animals.” Nancy focused on creating a beautiful copper shade that had vibrancy and power but didn’t look artificial. For the movie role, Nancy added more richness and depth to Amy’s haircolor. “Amy’s hair is like a sunset—different tones and hues from golden to copper. It’s not monochromatic,” Nancy says.
How to Get the Look
Nancy created the look at her Balayage by Nancy Braun Salon in Los Angeles using L’Oréal Professionnel products. She applied the color with a balayage hand painting technique so the color framed the actress’ face, leaving her looking naturally sun-kissed. “L’Oréal Professionnel haircolor is my tool box. I always use L’Oréal Professionnel color products on my clients,” shares Nancy. “But color care is key to maintain the integrity of such a gorgeous shade. I recommend L’Oréal Professionnel Pro Fiber and the Serie Absolut Repair Lipidium Strengthening Masque. Those are my go-to hair care products both in-salon and at home.”
