Contouring Copper

FORMULA STEPS
1. Section the hair as shown in the photo.
- Begin by separating the left and right side with a vertical parting from the center front to the center back.
- Create a triangle parting starting at center back and extending to the back corner on both sides capturing the nape.
- On the right side, create a triangle section over the ear that starts from the high point of the head and ends 1 ½ inches from the front and back of the ear. Repeat on the opposite side.
2. Starting in the back triangle, apply Formula A to Zone 1 (root area).
3. Take ¼-inch diagonal back subsections and extend Formula A into Zone 2 (the midlengths).
4. Apply Formula B through remaining Zone 2 and Zone 3 (the ends). Repeat for two to three more subsections.
5. Continue to take ¼-inch diagonal back subsections and extend Formula A into Zone 2.
6. Now, apply Formula C through remaining Zone 2 and Zone 3. Repeat for two to three more subsections.
7. In the last two to three subsections, extend Formula C into Zone 2 and apply Formula B through the remaining hair.
8. Repeat these steps in the two triangle sections over the ears.
9. Color the remaining sections roots to ends with Formula A.
10. Process for 20 minutes at room temperature.
11. Rinse, shampoo and condition with Redken Color Extend Magnetics.
