Brunette Contouring
If summer is the season of the blondes, then autumn is definitely when the brunettes reign supreme—cognac, bronze, mahogany, chestnut and mulberry. Lucky for us, TIGI® has a jumpstart on fall’s best brunettes, serving up this contouring technique that will give her a unique, personalized color effect. Feminine and effortless.

FORMULA STEPS
1. To begin, take a center profile parting from the forehead to the nape. Then take a radial parting on each side of the head for a total of four sections.
2. At the nape area, take a horizontal slice and apply Formula A to the new growth area through to the ends. Isolate the section with a TIGI® copyright©olour meche strip.
3. Continue working in the same way until you have completed the section.
4. Move to the side section. Take a diagonal parting and apply Formula A to the new growth. Using a freehand blending technique, apply Formula B to the midlengths and ends. Isolate with a meche strip.
5. Take diagonal partings starting at the hairline and apply Formula A to the new growth. With a freehand blending technique, alternate between Formulas A and B through the midlengths and ends.
6. Continue working in the same way until you have completed the section, then repeat on the opposite side.
7. Process for up to 25 minutes. Emulsify, rinse and remove using the Catwalk Fashionista Brunette range. Tone the prelightened areas using Formula C and process for up to 20 minutes. Once the desired tone is achieved, remove using the Catwalk Fashionista Brunette range.
