Vienna Alternative Hair Show
In support of Leukaemia Research in the UK and St. Anna Kinderspital in Vienna, Austria, the Vienna Alternative Hair Show was truly a spectacular event showcasing a number of industry faves and some budding new talent.
Held at the Austria Trend Eventhotel Pyramide on May 3rd, a tremendous audience of 2,000 people came together to raise an amazing 80,000 Euros for leukaemia research. The teams who put on show-stopping memorable performances included Alan Edwards (Scotland), Bundy Bundy (Austria), Easy Hair Fehringer (Austria), Kohsuke Visual Network (Japan), Laszlo Hajas (Hungary), Malgorzata Babicz (Poland), Mikel Luzea (Spain), Petra Mechurova (Czech Republic), S&A Group (Ukraine), Sanrizz, Sassoon , Stevo (Slovenia), TIGI International Creative Team and Winters (Italy).
Following in the London 2008 Alternative Hair Show theme, the 2009 Alternative Hair Show Vienna, Austria was entitled ‘Emotions’. The participating hair teams were asked to use this concept as the theme for their shows, and certainly showed their creativity with their interpretations of love, anger, jealousy and anarchy. The Artistic teams presented stunning creative presentations with both inspirational and imaginative performances.
Charity sponsors including Easy Hair Fehringer, Schwarzkopf, TIGI Bedhead, L’Oreal and Medavita.
Official Photography for the event was taken by Fritz Rychly and Veronika Arnost.
