Glory by Phil Smith

"For this collection", says Phil Smith,  "I wanted to draw attention to femininity and touch. The surroundings in each image are natural and soft, drawing the viewer towards the hair design.  Each style uses contrast; delicate cuts and bold colour, in many ways I used colour to highlight the style and texture of the hair; using curls, twists, plaits and crimps against sleekness to create dramatic diversity. Largely, I gained inspiration from my surroundings and from those around me. I found that the individuality and uniqueness of everyone is so diverse, it can really help achieve wonderful designs....
