What inspired Rodney Cutler and his brilliant team to create The 3-D Experience? A Steven Meisel photo shoot that used a chroming metallic effect over shots to give a surreal finish. This collection focuses on strong hair cut/style shapes that are cleverly dressed-out and then sprayed to reveal the ultimate 3-D effect! 

“We played with the idea of doing geometric haircuts but with elements of dressing to them – graphic lines and dress shapes,” states Dean Holcombe, Senior Stylist at Cutler/Redken Salon. Overall drama was achieved by masterfully fashioning wigs with color and styling to create avant-garde hairstyles with a magical spotlight effect.

Key products used to create these masterpieces included Redken Forceful 23 Super Strength Finishing Spray, essential for locking in strong styles, and Cutler Shine Tattoo, to add elements of shine to the hair further enhancing the play on color and light.
