Expect the unexpected from Sassoon International Creative Director Mark Hayes, and with Dada Dolls he does not disappoint. Off-kilter cuts offer dramatic contrasts in volume and texture. Candlestick perms create clouds of candy floss that sit with exaggerated effect next to tailored bowl-shaped panels, intricately cut from long to short.

The color palette is inspired by the rose—specifically Cy Twombley’s huge rose canvas installations that are drenched in ecstatic color. It’s a celebration of rosy hues, from rich crimson to deep blood red; velvety violet shadowed by damask pink; and charcoal grey etched with soft cream. The Dadaists embraced chaos, as does Hayes and his team with this collection—and disarray never looked so inviting!
