HOW-TO STEPS

    1 Britni prior to the cut.

    2 At the front hairline, take a diagonal back section through to the mid ear.
  • close formula
    3 Take a central vertical section, comb to 90° and point cut, rounding with the head shape.

    4 Continue with vertical sections and over direct to the center guide.
  • close formula
    5 Repeat on the opposite side.

    6 Create a zigzag halo section.

    7 Using the guide to length created by the face frame. Comb the hair at the sides to 90° and block layer with point cutting.

    8 Repeat this technique around the entire head shape.

    9 To establish the perimeter, comb the lengths to natural fall, elevate to 45° and slice to create a soft textured edge.

    10 Across the top of the head take horizontal sections.

    11 Using the guide from the underneath, comb to 90°, and point cut round.

    12 With the next section, alternate the technique by using deep C–curvature slicing.

    13 Repeat alternating the technique, until all remaining sections have been cut.

    14 Use a diffuser on high heat and low speed to dry.

    15 Detail the shape with deep slicing.
