Prepare the hair with TIGI Bed Head Control Freak Serum, then take a central profile parting then create a halo section by taking two curved diagonal back partings from the top of the head to the occipital bone.

Continue with the same technique towards the sides.

Repeat the same technique on the opposite side. Keep the technique consistent for balance.

Cross-check before proceeding.

At the center front, comb the hair to its natural fall and elevate to graduation level. Point-cut the hair to create a soft rounded shape.

Continue towards the sides to blend the front perimeter to the length at the sides. Over-direct slightly forward around the recession to blend and soften the outline.

Release the top and using the same technique, complete the baseline using the guide from the previous section.

Take a center parting at the back then a slight diagonal forward section from the crown to the hairline. Comb and elevate the hair to 90-degrees. Using the length from the occipital bone as a guide, blunt-cut squarely to the head shape to create the layering guide.

Continue with pivotal radial sections from the crown to the hairline. Over-direct each section back to the previous one and continue removing weight from the round of the head.

Continue with pivotal radial sections in front of the ear until the center parting is reached and the technique is completed. Repeat the same technique on the opposite side.

Once the layering is completed, take a central vertical section at the forehead. Comb and elevate the hair to 90-degrees. Cross-check and remove additional weight by blunt-cutting round to the head shape.

After power-drying, smooth the cuticle and create movement and direction with a TIGI Pro Large Round Brush.

Personalize the cut using point-cutting...

...and slicing. Finish with TIGI Bed Head Hard Head Hairspray.
