HOW-TO STEPS
-
1
Working in sections no larger than the width and depth of the DiGiStiK grip hair close to the scalp and wrap section around the DiGiStiK in a circular downward motion until you reach the midshaft of the section.
-
2
Working in a reverse action from the midshaft to the ends curl upwards and outward. This creates a loose and natural looking reverse curl.
Create an entire row of these types of curls. -
3
On the next section moving up the head.
Wrap small sections of hair around the DiGiStiK and hold to create a curl and straight alternating shape. -
4
Release the hair by opening DiGiStiK and gliding iron downward.
-
5
On next section create traditional curls by starting close to the scalp and winding while gliding DiGiStiK smoothly out to the ends always holding on to the ends while gliding through the section.
-
6
After alternating all three techniques all over the head sweep the crown and back sections up into a loose ponytail, never combing through to the ends, just the hair closest to the scalp.
-
7
Sweep up in a twist, secure with ponytail holder and bobby pins.
-
8
Layer curls around ponytail and out of ponytail to create soft alternating curls.
-
9
The finished look front view.
