Red Babylights and Layered Chop from ULTA
Section the hair into quadrants.
Subdivide the back from the nape, splitting the hair in half horizontally at the occipital bone. Section out the fringe with a pie-shaped parting that extends two inches back from the front
hairline and to the outside corner of each eye.
Begin in the nape section on the left hand side. Take 1-inch diagonal forward subsections and comb the hair to natural fall. Use a horizontal finger position and straight finger angle and cut the hair with a razor using short, quick strokes. Work up the left nape to the back section. Repeat on the other side.
Move to the back left section. Using the perimeter length as a guide, cut the back in 1-inch diagonal forward subsections with long, soft razor strokes. Work up the left back section to the crown. Repeat on the other side.

Move to the left side section. Slightly overdirect the hair to the front of the ear and cut 1-inch diagonal forward subsections with short, quick razor strokes. Continue working up the side, overdirecting each section to the stationary guide at the front of the ear. Repeat on the right side.
Divide the fringe in half horizontally. Comb the bottom straight down and elevate the hair 45 degrees. Cut the fringe from the inside to the outside with short, quick razor strokes. Cut the top half in the same manner.
Section the top and the crown keeping the right and left sides separate. Clip away all of the hair below the parietal ridge to isolate the top section. Clip the top right section away for control. Comb the hair up and over to the opposite side of the head.
Elevate the hair and condense the section to the center of the ear. Insert the razor in the midstrand of the section to create texture.

Red Babylights and Layered Chop from ULTA
For natural, subtle-looking dimension, the team from The Salon at Ulta Beauty works with Babylights in their Effortless Radiance Collection for fall. Babylights are all about the size of the “stitch,” explains team leader Rodney Cutler. Take tiny, micro-stitches—this is the secret to “born with it” results on any shade. The color pairs perfectly with the chic and lively layered, fringed bob.
