Before Look
Apply Moisture Cure 2-Phase Treatment to damp hair, as both a cutting lotion and to soften and texturize. Distribute through hair with wide tooth comb.
On damp hair, create a horseshoe shaped parting along the parietal ridge then divide the section in half over the top of the head separating the front from the back. These are sections 4 and 5.
Create sections 2 and 3 by taking a vertical parting from the parietal to the top of the ears on both sides. The back becomes section 1.
Repeat in section 3.

Create a ½” vertical sub-section at center back of section 1. Using 90 degree elevation cut with the C.R.A.F.T. Deep Point Cutting Technique by using the points of your scissors to cut directly into the section. This will be your traveling guide. Continue working to behind both ears.
Create a ½” vertical sub-section above the right ear. Using a guide from section 1, cut using the same elevation and cutting technique as before. This will now become your stationary guide. Continue working towards the face taking vertical sub-sections and over-directing them to your stationary side.
Release sections 4 and 5. To establish your guide, create a 1” center profile sub-section. Elevate sub-section to 90 degrees; use the hair from the crown as your guide and deep point cut. Work toward front hairline following the contour of the head.
Using the high point of the head as your guide, take pie-shaped sub-sections and point cut. Work your way around sections 4 and 5 until complete.
