HOW-TO STEPS
-
1
-
2
Comb back and side hair into natural fall. Cut a horizontal perimeter.
-
3
Use a ¼-inch wide section of hair from center front hairline. Cut the guide lip length (point A).
-
4
Comb side hair from center of ear (point B) to front hairline into natural fall. Cut a diagonal line connecting point A to point B.
-
5
Comb hair parallel with front hairline and overdirect back to top of head. Use point A as a guide and cut at 45° or more to retain length and volume.
-
6
Use guide at top of head and cut to the end of round of head, combing hair straight out from head. Continue cutting using a traveling guide to balance point. From flat of head to nape extend the angle to accommodate desired hair length. Some of the nape hair may not reach and will drop away.
-
7
Guide is stationary at the balance point, remaining hair behind the ear is brought back to stationary guide and cut. Once hair is styled, personalize with texturizing where needed.
Note: the hair will have a slight disconnect from front sides to back of head. -
