How-To: Balayage Lob Wob

When it comes to creating #hairporn, Noora Ahmad of The Best Little Hair House in Simi Valley, CA is following in the steps of her idol, ombré activist Guy Tang. Noora has been inspired to color outside the lines and to not follow the rules! Essentially, she’s following Guy’s motto of being a #hairslut. Guy doesn’t stick to a single color line, he feels comfortable dabbling in other brands and products in order to achieve the best possible results for his clients. Noora believes the same. Using a mix of Schwarzkopf Professional and Wella Professionals for her client’s Balayage Lob Wob, she created this beautiful ombré for her client. Being obsessed with BTC, she reached out through her Instagram account, making sure to tag her photos with #btcpics and @behindthechair_com in order to ensure we noticed her beautiful color creations!

HOW-TO STEPS

  • 1

Apply Formula A to the base—using your brush to feather the color down.

  • 2

While Formula A is settling, begin mixing Formula B. As Noora described, she mixed it to the consistency of “cream cheese.” Begin balayaging the ends using Formula B.
