How Megan Fox’s Stylist Keeps Her Color Brighter, Longer

Amber Dawn, who works with a multitude of celebrity clients (including Megan Fox) has the answer. She has created a quick and easy salon add-on service that not only restores and nourishes hair, but also brightens color between services. Ideal for dry strands, Fibre Force adheres to the actual hair “fiber,” going exactly where it is needed. Here’s how Amber freshened up Megan’s warm, gold blonde using the BC Fibre Force Treatment!

HOW-TO STEPS

Cleanse the hair with Schwarzkopf Professional BC Fibre Force Shampoo and Conditioner. Rinse thoroughly and squeeze the water out of the hair.

Add 10g Schwarzkopf Professional IGORA VIVANCE demi-permanent haircolor in color/tone selected to the “tub” of Schwarzkopf Professional BC Fibre Foprce Treatment. For Megan, Amber recently chose -55 (extra gold)IGORA VIVANCE to add shine and sparkle to her warm, golden blonde tone. (Choose color tones depending on your client’s needs, here are a few suggestions: if you are controlling an icy blonde, add 10g of a blue-violet color; or if you are enhancing a red, choose 10g of copper for radiance—always using 10g.) Once the concentrate has been added to the Fibre Force Treatment, mix thoroughly for even distribution.

Depending on the amount of hair, start with a golf-ball-sized amount of the treatment scalp to ends. To ensure even distribution, use a Schwarzkopf Professional tail comb.

Leave the treatment on for 20 minutes.

Rinse thoroughly, towel-dry well and spritz with Schwarzkopf Professional BC Fibre Force Leave-In Spray Conditioner to lock in the color, combing the formula through the hair for even distribution.

Dry the hair and style as desired.

“You can charge a little extra, but give your clients the tub of Treatment and color so that they can refresh their color on a weekly basis at home, until their next salon color service,” says Amber. She adds, “I have been doing this treatment on Megan since the product came out. It’s a quick and easy add-on service that really brightens existing color while adding shine, reflection and a kiss of sparkle.”
* In cases of severely dry hair, Amber recommends spraying Schwarzkopf Professional BC Fibre Force Leave-In Spray Conditioner on dry hair before applying the colored Treatment. If hair is extremely dry and porous, the treatment will adhere better on dry hair.
