KARLIE KLOSS’ SLICKED-BACK PONYTAIL AT THE 2023 MET GALA

Irinel prepped Karlie’s damp hair by spraying Living Proof Style Lab® Blowout from the midshaft to ends. This leave-in provides grip and protects the hair from heat. 

She then used the Dyson Supersonic™ Hair Dryer (Professional Edition with Styling Concentrator attachment) to blow the hair dry using medium heat and a round brush. 

After the hair was dry, Irinel then clipped in hair extensions throughout.

Irinel sprayed Living Proof Style Lab® Flex Hairspray all over then brushed through with a boar bristle brush.

She created waves in Karlie’s hair using the Dyson Corrale™ hair styler straightener with the heat setting at 410 degrees.

She then brushed the hair back into a mid-pony and secured with an elastic. 

She set the look by spraying the ponytail with Living Proof Full Dry Volume & Texture Spray to give the ponytail extra volume and texture. 

Irinel finished the look by applying a couple of drops of the Living Proof No Frizz Vanishing Oil throughout the ponytail for a high-shine finish.

The look was completed with a black Jennifer Behr bow.
