COLOR FORMULAS

  • Formula A (root retouch)

Oligo Professionnel Extra Blonde Lightener + 20-volume developer

  • Formula B (base)

    Schwarzkopf Professional IGORA VIBRANCE® 6-0 + 7-55 + 7-77 + 5-88 + 0-88 + 0-77 Booster + 0-55 Booster + 13-volume developer

  • Formula C (all over)

FORMULA STEPS

1. Apply Formula A to the roots. Jen’s client has Level 4 roots and typically comes in every six weeks for a retouch.

2. Process for 25 minutes, then rinse.

3. Apply Formula B to the roots only. Here’s why: Her client already has faded copper on the ends, so this will prevent an uneven blend where the ends take too much copper and the roots don’t take enough.

Pro Tip For Dimensional Reds & Coppers:

“Copper isn’t complete without a little gold and neutral added into it!” Jen said. “You can’t just use copper.” That’s why she added IGORA VIBRANCE® 0-88 + 0-77 Boosters to the color formula.

4. Allow Formula B to process for 15 minutes at the roots, then pull the color through the ends and allow everything to process for 10 more minutes. Then, rinse.

5. Apply Formula C all over. Jen finishes with Schwarzkopf Professional CHROMA ID Bonding Color Mask 7-77 to add an extra pop of copper, and a soft glow with ribbons of rich, warm tones.

6. Process for 20 minutes, then rinse.

7. Finished Look
