Starting Point: Natural Level 6

Sectioning

1. Create a horseshoe-shaped section that starts at the corner of the eye, extends to the crown and ends at the opposite corner of the eye.

2. Separate the front from the back with a vertical parting from the horseshoe parting to the top of the ear. Repeat on the opposite side.

3. Then, divide the back equally with a vertical parting from the horseshoe parting to the center of the nape. Secure both sides.

Prelightening Application

1. Starting in the back left section, take ¼-inch diagonal-back slices and place on a foil. Apply Formula A to the mids and saturate through the ends. Cover with a foil and continue using the same method to complete the entire back left quadrant.

2. Then, continue using the same method to complete the remaining quadrants. Let process at room temperature until pale yellow or up to 50 minutes. Shampoo with Redken Chemistry Extreme for dry hair.

Color Application

1. Divide the hair into quadrants and apply Formula B to the roots using a global application.

2. Then, starting in the back left quadrant, take ¼ to ½-inch diagonal-back slices and apply Formula C to the mids and saturate through to the ends. Continue using the same method to complete all quadrants.

3. Process at room temperature for 20 minutes and rinse, do not shampoo. Then, on towel-dried hair, apply pH-Bonder #2 Fiber Restorative Pre-wash Concentrate for 10 minutes, rinse and follow with Color Extend Magnetics shampoo and conditioner.
