One of the best things about the hair industry is that rules don’t exist. It’s all about the client and what they envision regardless of the season. Sami Schneider (@samihairmagic) from House of Color in Colorado Springs, Colo., had a little bit of fun when she pushed winter formulas to the side and gave her client a bold and electric purple to platinum color melt. Check out how you can play with color this winter!

FORMULA STEPS

1.
Lighten the hair by applying Formula A at the roots and Formula B from the midshaft to the ends.

2. Tone hair with Formula C and process for 10 minutes, then rinse.

3. Tone the hair again using Formula D and process for 15 minutes, then rinse.

4. Apply Formula E at the roots and process for 20 minutes. Rinse the hair with cold water using K-PAK Shampoo and Conditioner.
