Pearly Blonde Balayage
When Kristen Lee’s (@krisy_lovely) client came to her with a brassy, grown-out, ‘do, she was long overdue for a makeover. So Kristen, a stylist at Divine Salon in Ontario, Calif., got to work creating this pearly, deep blonde balayage, blended perfectly to eliminate any trace of previous color that had turned orange/yellow.
After the transformation, Kristen took to Instagram to share her work, and captioned her snap: “Please don’t try doing your own color at home or by someone who isn’t a licensed cosmetologist. You’ll most likely end up with damaged hair and/or a terrible color/cut, just to spend even more money to get it fixed by a professional. So save your hair and money and book an appointment with an actual hairstylist!” Amen, Kristen. Here’s how she took her client from brassy to classy.

COLOR FORMULAS 
FORMULA STEPS
1. Apply Formula A to the roots, and comb through to blend and eliminate blotchy, uneven roots. Process for 45 minutes.
2. While the root color processes, balayage very heavily in the front and back using Formula B, and place under a dryer for about 10 minutes or until the desired lift (a Level 9) is achieved.
3. Rinse, shampoo and apply Formula C to wet hair. Process for no longer than 4 minutes.
4. Rinse and apply Olaplex No.2, then condition. Dry and style as desired.
