From the bright blue Salvatore Ferragamo ensemble to the heavy-handed pink blush, “Riverdale” star Lili Reinhart perfectly embodied the former French queen at the 2019 Met Gala. But of course, we’re dying to know how Redken Brand Ambassador Matt Rez (@colorbymattrez) achieved a balanced blend of baby blonde haircolor and dimensional lowlights.
“Lili loves a cooler blonde, so we always go for neutral, cool tones when rooting and glossing her hair,” shares Matt. “To get her ready for the red carpet, we added in lowlights to create a really nice neutral tone with depth and then glossed all over.”

1. Start by adding in lowlights with Formula A to add depth while achieving a neutral tone throughout. Let process.
2.
