FORMULA STEPS

1. Begin by sectioning the hair into four segments with an off-center parting.

 

2. Starting at the back hairline, apply Formula A in three back-to-back 1/8 inch weaves, following the natural hairline growth.

 

3. Continuing with Formula A, work to move towards the front hairline. Using four back-to-back 1/8- inch sections, incorporate this foil pattern: weave, weave, slice, weave.

 

4. Working now below the parietal and crown section, apply Formula A in one-inch sections, lightly teasing the top layer to add depth through foils.

 

5. Above the parietal, apply Formula A in one-inch horizontal sections, lightly teasing the top of each section. 

 

6. Any hair left out of the foils will be tipped-out using Formula A for a bright end result. 

 

7. Apply Formula B as a root shadow, just one inch away from the scalp. 

 

8. Allow the root shadow to process for 10 minutes, then comb the formula through with a wide tooth comb for the desired root depth.

 

 Pro Tip: Start combing the shadow root at the line of demarcation, combing from the root can risk removing product needed for the shadow.

 

9. Once combed through, melt Formula C into Formula B for a flawless blend. 

 

10. Proceed with the Paul Mitchell Bond Rx Professional Bond-Building Treatment, spraying Bond Rx Step 1 throughout the hair and allowing to process for five minutes before rinsing. 

 

11. Once rinsed, apply Bond Rx Step 2, processing for 15 minutes before rinsing. 

 

12. To fully activate the Bond Rx technology and reveal the stunning, healthy blonde, end with a blow-dry and style of choice.
