When creating color like this, the secret is in the (super) thin slices. And every time the style shifts—braided, smoothed, waved, crimped—the color shifts subtly too. FORMULA STEPS
1. On prelightened hair, apply Formula A to new growth and Formula B to midlengths and ends.
2. Process, rinse, shampoo and dry the hair.
3. Create a Mohawk section.
4. Throughout the Mohawk section, apply Formula C and D to alternating, thin slices.
5. Repeat alternating thin vertical slices through the sides and back.“The tones look so well-blended,” Philip explains, “because the slices are very thin and are applied all the way around the head from side to side.
6. Process, rinse, shampoo and treat with K-PAK Deep Penetrating Reconstructor.
