Dimensional pink balayage might be one of our new fave hues—and this pixie-dust pink by BTC team member Sara Hinckley (@saripants) is not only multi-dimensional, but looks like it’s literally sparkling. Here’s how she mixed Matrix SOCOLOR Cult to create this magical pink shade. 💖

FORMULA STEPS

1. To start, lighten the hair with Formula A by doing a full balayage.

 

2. If needed and as you move forward, increase the developer to ensure an even, quick lifting process. Wrap each section with plastic wrap, let process and then rinse.

 

3. Next, pre-tone the hair using Formula B, process and rinse.

 

4. Section the hair with a T-part, creating quadrants. Then, use a 16-foil technique, adding four foils to each section and alternate painting with Formulas C and D.

 

5. Let process, then shampoo and condition before rinsing, blowing-dry and styling as desired with Biolage styling products.
