John C. Simpson has been making waves in the beauty industry for more than two decades. At the age of 18, John began his career working as a stylist in Pittsburgh. Using his inspirational outlook and ever-changing techniques, John transformed the look of hundreds of people, making each client’s hair his very own canvas.
John discovered his passion for teaching in his early twenties, and quickly began working as an educator for Goldwell. He was eventually named Goldwell’s North American Creative Director. In 2008, John won Colorist of the Year from the North American Hairstyling Awards, and since then, he has traveled throughout the world educating stylists and spreading his message.
To John, the best work comes from translating real life inspiration into the art of hair coloring, cutting, and finishing. In 2014, he met fellow beauty industry icon Christopher Dove and the two decided to team up, taking hair education to a new level. Together the duo developed CoCre8, a new education platform highly anticipated by stylists worldwide. CoCre8 made its official debut at Premiere Orlando in May 2015.
