Hairstylist Eugene Souleiman, the current Global Creative Director of Care & Styling for Wella Professional,  has worked with fashion’s finest photographers both editorially, and collaborating with them on campaigns for Calvin Klein , Balenciaga, Givenchy, Fendi, Jil Sander , Lanvin, Hermes, Yohji Yamamoto , Donna Karan , Alberta Ferretti , Guerlain, Giorgio Armani Cosmetics, Rimmel and the Gap. In addition to many of those listed above, the hairstylist has created runway hair looks for Dolce & Gabbana, Dries Van Noten , Celine, Chanel, Chloe, Ann Demeulemeester , Louis Vuitton , Rick Owens , DSquared2, Kenzo, Lanvin, Issey Miyake, Stella McCartney , Viktor & Rolf, Valentino, and Hussein Chalayan , among many more. Souleiman regularly contributes to Dazed and Confused, i-D Magazine W, Harper’s Bazaar, Another Magazine, Arena, Arena Homme Plus, Numero, Self Service, V Magazine, L’Uomo Vogue, Numero, Self Service, and the New York Times. Souleiman’s career began in 1982 when a job centre placement led him to become an apprentice hairdresser. He would soon learn the ‘Sasson way’ from Trevor Sorbie, and would work closely with Sorbie for nearly 10 years. Souleiman’s career has seemn him work at many of hair’s most successful companies. In 1998 Souleiman briefly worked with at Toni & Guy, which he would leave to become co-creative director of Bumble and Bumble in 1999, he was then approached to join the Vidal Sasson team as editorial director, where he would remain until his appointment as creative director fo Tecni.Art/L’Oreal Professionnel, before moving onto Wella Porfessional. The hair stylist believes, “people should have fun with hair, it grows and changes all the time. And it’s only hair, really” In his hands it isn’t, it is much, much more.
