LOVE: Mary’s Morning Inspiration
BTC Founder and Creative Director Mary Rector’s famous Monday Morning Inspiration was a refreshing, enlightening and inspiring way to start the day. Mary shared her own personal journey with the audience and how believing in yourself and your dreams can lead you to do great things. She inspired the crowd with motivational messages like, “Stop shrinking to fit places you’ve outgrown,” and the importance of giving yourself permission to grow and follow your vision. It was the perfect way to open day two of THE BTC SHOW.
Chris Appleton with ColorWow
@chrisappleton1 is responsible for some of Hollywood’s most famous heads of hair: Kim Kardashian West, J.Lo and Ariana Grande (OMG!). We were super stoked to have him on our stage as ColorWow’s ambassador dishing his secrets for achieving super-flat, extra long glass hair and how to lay a wig so it’s undetectable.

This tribe always delivers excellent salon-friendly education, so we were thrilled to welcome @matt.swinney, @leahfreeman1 and @ammoncarver back to our stage. From quick styling tips to genius color advice, L’ANZA had it all!

This team of balayage superstars showcased GORGEOUS looks.

The Redken team always brings super-useful tips and tricks, and this year was no exception. We had a blast watching @seangodard, @rebeccataylorhair, @cassandraplatinum, @paintedhair and @lorizabel on stage!

This team of Artistic Educator @hairbyeleven, Brand Ambassador @styled_by_carolynn and Artistic Team Member @_emmaco_ showed us versatile styling, from timelessly chic to wearably edgy, and we loved it!
Celebrity Panel
This year’s Celebrity Panel was a truly all-star lineup, covering the manes of A-listers like Kim Kardashian West, Lady Gaga, Madonna, Kristen Stewart, Gisele and Miley Cyrus. WE KNOW, RIGHT?!? @chrisappleton1, @fredericaspiras, @nicolaclarkecolour, @harryjoshhair, @hairbyadir and @sallyhershberger talked candidly with BTC’s Mary Rector and Lauren Rees on what it takes to make it as a celeb hairdresser, plus they spilled a little Hollywood gossip!
