Kevin became internationally recognized for his work across fashion, runway and celebrity styling, contributing to publications including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Vanity Fair and Marie Claire. He also collaborated with acclaimed creatives like Baz Luhrmann on “Moulin Rouge!” and worked with celebrity clients including Cate Blanchett, Naomi Watts, Heidi Klumย and Kylie Minogue.

The brand itself was born from Kevins experience backstage and on editorial shoots, where he struggled to find products that delivered the performance he needed without compromising the hairโ€™s condition. That challenge pushed him to look beyond traditional haircare and toward skincare-inspired formulationsโ€”a philosophy that continues to define the brand today.

Even with their global reach, KEVIN.MURPHY continues to position themselves as a stylist-founded, privately held company created โ€œfor hairdressers, by hairdressers.โ€

Expanding Access for Stylists

One of the brandโ€™s biggest current priorities is making KEVIN.MURPHY products and education more accessible to stylists throughout North America.

Through a new partnership with SalonCentric stores and online platforms, the brand is expanding distribution while continuing to support their established independent distributor network. The goal is to give stylists more flexibility in how and where they shop while ensuring they still have access to education, salon support and professional resources.
