How It Works
@bagriyaleksandr used framesi Decolor B SHIMMER to create this look. “Its advantage is that you can create accents, nuances and highlights in a short period of time,” he said on Instagram (translated from Russian). The liquid lightener is applied to dry hair, then the colorist passes over the painted section with a flat iron until dry. This activates the lightener and provides up to two levels of lift on tone.
Here’s what else @bagriyaleksandr said about this process (translated from Russian):
“The product does not require rinsing (after the procedure it is not recommended to wash your hair for a day). When bleaching, it gives the effect of sun-bleached hair with a pleasant warm or neutral shade (depending on the original base). Lightening ability: 1-2 tones.”
And more details:
“I do not recommend working on heavily damaged or previously bleached hair. In the video, the procedure was performed on natural hair level 7 tones. 1.5 months have already passed and the girl with her hair is all right 😉👌… Once again: it is important to conduct a proper diagnosis of the condition of the hair before the procedure. And an indisputable plus is saving time for both the master and the client.”
