Hotheads® Hair Extensions Announces New Lead Artistic And Education Team

Hotheads® Hair Extensions is proud to announce Kristen and Mickey Colon as its new lead artistic and education team. Between the two renowned stylists, they bring more than 30 years of experience to the brand, working in and owning a salon in central Florida—10 of which Kristen worked as an educator for Hotheads®.

Hotheads® has brought in the married duo to lead and grow the artistic team, which will be comprised of various hair masters who will contribute different strengths to form one dynamic team of trainers for the U.S. and Canada. The team of talented educators and extensions specialists will instruct and train distributor educators nationwide and in Canada, showing stylists how to elevate their craft and expand their business behind the chair by incorporating hair extensions into their repertoire.

“We are very proud and quite humbled to have been selected as the new artistic and education team leads for Hotheads®,” says Kristen. “Mickey and I feed off of each other’s energy, keep each other inspired. We love collaborating on photo shoots, in classes, or even just working on a client in our salon.”

Apart from leading the team of educators for the brand, Kristen and Mickey will also manage the overall artistic direction for Hotheads®. They will be creatively involved in imagery direction, content creation, curriculum development, class structure, platform work, provide hands-on training to the team of educators and make several trade show appearances around the world.
