amika Expands Its U.S. Distribution Into Cosmo Prof®

amika fans rejoice—as of May 12, 2023 the brand is available in over 900 U.S. Cosmo Prof® locations and on CosmoProfBeauty.com making it even more accessible to professional hairstylists across the country. 

According to the brand’s president Chelsea Riggs, this new retail partnership allows amika (which means “friend”) to strengthen its friendship with stylists. “amika is a salon-raised brand, and now more than ever, we are investing in our professional channel,” she says. “This expansion allows us to further our brand promise of being a friend to hairstylists by becoming more accessible to our number one customer—meeting them where and how they shop.”

In addition to expanding its U.S. distribution, amika will launch several initiatives in 2023 focused on supporting professional hairstylists through introducing a salon loyalty program with a rewards portal, launching a salon ambassador program, scaling its educator network and expanding and diversifying its artistic team.
